Mama Dado is selling soap.

Mama Dado, one of the women who has participated in our Knowledge Exchange Program, met Mudi in the village where she lives. She was filled with joy and gratitude for the knowledge she had gained through BNE – learning how to make her own soap. She enthusiastically shared that she is now planning to start a small business and has already bought the ingredients she needs. Mudi explained that Mama Dado values their meetings so much, as she always leaves with new ideas and advice – she described it as her brain “exploding with new insights.” Mudi reflected on how conversations in the village have changed; the women who have received training through BNE no longer talk mostly about neighbors and everyday gossip, but about their new knowledge, plans, and dreams. They want to know more, learn more, and grow together.
