Ann Hageus, founder of Baho Neza Swe, is a chiropractor and clown with a strong commitment to human rights and women’s rights. The idea for Baho Neza Swe was born after visiting refugee camps in Rwanda with Clowns Without Borders, where she met Mudi from Rwandan Acrobats. Together, they wanted to create an organization to support vulnerable women in Rwanda. Ann combines her Master of Arts in International Economic History, which gives her a deep understanding of global economic and historical contexts, with her chiropractic and artistic background to work holistically with health and empowerment.

Head of Baho Neza Education
Justine is one of Baho Neza's ambassadors who completed the basic and advanced courses with Baho Neza Education in 2021. She lives in Gisenyi, Rwanda, and works making Andazi, a type of wheat bun that she sells from a small stall near her home. Since 2023, she has been active as an ambassador and has led several courses for young women and children in her neighborhood.
She believes that these courses help increase understanding of how important good health is, especially when raising children, so that they have a chance to grow up with more knowledge about how to take care of themselves. It also helps women gain greater self-esteem and confidence, which they can then pass on to their children.

She believes this is beneficial because it strengthens neighborly relations and leads to increased safety. She has also organized gatherings with children where they have played together, which the children have greatly appreciated. Many of the participants have gained a deeper understanding of their own health.
The local leaders have also expressed their appreciation for Ledivine’s activities!
