Greating from Mudi -A father got in touch about his daughter..
"A man called me. He sounded both worried and a little resigned. He told me about his daughter, who is around 23 years old. She has dropped out of school and now mostly sits at home and doesn’t do very much.
He was concerned, but had heard about Baho Neza Education and our knowledge exchange program. And he wondered if there might be a place for his daughter with us?
He said that he so dearly wanted her to have a chance to do something. To learn a craft, to feel some sense of purpose, or simply to meet and get to know other people.
And this, this is exactly why Baho Neza Education was started.
There are many young women who have dropped out of school and are without jobs and opportunities, yet still carry so much potential. In the latest program, the "knowledge exchange program", the women share their knowledge in various crafts: sewing, baking, basket weaving, making soap and oils. They are given the opportunity to learn something new and, through that, gain greater self-confidence and respect.
